We encourage you to visit our creamery and farm store during store hours or contact us to schedule a private or group tour of our farm and creamery.  As opposed to many commercial farms, we welcome cameras and questions; we are proud of what we do here and want you to see it!

Store Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Closed Sunday and Monday

Closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Apple Valley Creamery's farm and facilities are available for tours, and we love to do them!  You can always view our creamery through the viewing windows in our store, during store hours.  If you want a more in-depth tour, then a guided farm tour may be for you.  The guided farm tours run from April 1st through November 30th.  Tours spotlight farm animals, food production, and farm life.  Your family or group will be able to experience daily farm life firsthand.  While on a farm tour, plan to meet different animals and see how the milk goes from the cow to your breakfast table.

Tours can also include the following, based on the day and time of day you come:

Demonstrations of our bottling process: Schedule a tour on a day that we are bottling our milk to see the entire process through our large viewing windows.

Demonstrations of our milking process: Schedule a tour during our 4:00 - 5:00 pm afternoon milking time to see how the milk is harvested from our cows.

FURTHER FARM TOUR INFORMATION

We are a REAL working dairy farm.  As such, we have a variety of equipment, animals and areas which require your attention and respect. Some of these are open to you, while others are private. As we open our farm to you (and those in your group), we will assign a primary contact person to act as your guide. Please direct all questions and concerns to your guide and follow all instructions accurately. We expect you to stay with the tour guide at all times, be attentive, stay together, follow directions and act responsibly at our farm.

In visiting the farm, children are required to have reasonable adult supervision (parent or guardian, teacher, chaperone, or supervisor) to safely and effectively manage everyone in your group.  While we do not mandate what reasonable adult supervision should be, we reserve the right to determine when something represents a problem for us or others, and to take corrective action, including ending a tour or asking someone to leave. You (as an adult, parent or supervisor) need to keep all children close at hand, oversee their activities at all times and watch for their safety around others, our buildings, and active and stationary farm equipment.

We work hard to provide and maintain a clean and safe environment at our farm, including several hand wash stations.  However, you are responsible to ensure that any children in your group wash their hands after touching or feeding animals before they eat any food or snacks.

Photographs are permitted but are not allowed to be sold or used in any way without our written permission.
